SKYF The Movie

 

Whilst having a meal in Melville we came across the talent that is Thapelo Mokoena.  He and his friend (Lungile Mdlalose) were pouring over his laptop. As he knew someone in my crew conversation between us all soon got sparked.  They were very excited and talked about their film SKYF which is currently on the big screen.

Skyf is popular slang for cigarette, however I’ve been in situations when a cigarette-less smoker would turn to someone smoking and simply state ‘skyf’ when requesting a puff, it’s all smoke related.

In the movie Thapelo plays the addicted protagonist Themba but he is also the co-producer. SKYF is written and directed by and Lungile Mdlalose.
