Ragga Nights at Bassline with Jahseed and Admiral are a core foundation for the Jozi club scene. The venue has never been relevant. All that is needed is the pair, a turn table, a mic, MAD speakers and their followers will come out in numbers on Thursday night. I can testify, when I’m in a certain frame of mind (right or wrong), the experience borders on being spiritual. Music is all right with me!
After a long work day that finished after midnight, my salvation was the Admiral and Jahseed and despite my long absence it great to see some of the regulars.
