In The Green Direction

Anyone who knows me will know that Green matters are close to my heart.  I don’t think it’s all doom and gloom either. Not yet. About two decades ago there was a global threat as the ozone layer was being depleted. Society and governments demanded certain industries be accountable by reducing the amount of CFS’s in the manufacture of products and the depletion was largely reversed.

Now we are in a far worse situation and the ozone is one of a myriad of environmental issues facing mankind. Action to remedy the situation has been sluggish despite thunderous warning bells. I’ve been unsuccessfully trying for a number to recycle paper, glass, plastic and my non-ending collection of chargers. Separating the waste was the always the easiest part finding a recycle centre was another mission. Now thanks to Pick ‘n Pay recycling is becoming accessible nationally.

This is one of many small steps corporates and society is taking in a way that suits our needs and purpose.  The Green Agenda will soon grow real momentum and it will be once again second nature for mankind to look after our Earth.
