| The Art: LOVE JHB! |
I am getting older by the day. It is
so surreal to have lived through something amazing that eventually died out only
to witness a new group of people try and revive the experience. My people from
Jungle Connexion, Tandoor, Bassline and of course 206 will know what I am
talking about.
The Rooster
has art exhibition space upstairs and downstairs is assigned to performance
art. Downsatairs is a garage-like rustic poetry café: concrete floors,
beanbags, mismatched chairs, bright-coloured and unplasterd walls.

My good friend Roegsana
Moosajee was billed to perform alongside Ntsiki Mazwai. This was her second
time on the rodeo – despite being nerves – she managed to get perform her three
pieces and delighted the audience.
